Created a body of twenty self-portraits to be shown in the gallery. Wrote a press release sent to local media announcing the show, as well as an artist statement to accompany the work. Designed the gallery space with the owner, as well as organized opening night.

Sirius Working Dog Association

Photographed the club’s annual dog trial and was responsible for photos of dogs, owners, and degrees awarded during the trial. Also took photos
of all shutzhund trials to be published on the club’s website.

Photographed the ordination of Deacon Arthur Mitchell at St. Mary’s Basilica in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the request of the Archbishop. The photos were archived by the diocese.

Was commissioned by several different individuals who had seen previous work online or in person to draw portraits to be given as gifts. Worked for 8+ hours on each drawing, and was in consultation with the commissioner

Worked within the school to promote the visual arts. Designed and painted wall murals during lunch hour and after school. Helped organize meetings and projects for the year.
TOL Foreign Correspondent Course, Prague, Czech Republic

Worked with a partner during a week-long course to produce a story in a foreign country. Had classes in radio, television, photojournalism, and print journalism with top journalists from around the world, including photojournalist Dean C.K. Cox. Spent several weeks prior to the course in contact with the writing instructor doing research, focusing a story idea, and making contacts in Prague.
